The charming town of Badoc is once again opening its doors to locals and visitors alike as it celebrates the Community Festival 2025—a vibrant 4-day event filled with tradition, creativity, and camaraderie. Rooted in history and enriched by the community’s passion, this year’s theme emphasizes the spirit of togetherness as we honor our shared cultural heritage.
What to Expect This Year
Grand Parade & Street Dancing (March 14)
Colorful costumes, rhythmic drumbeats, and spirited street dancers from various barangays will flood the streets for the Grand Parade. Watch as schools and community groups showcase their artistry and pride in Badoc’s local culture.
Barangay Competitions & Cultural Presentations (March 15–16)
Expect friendly but fierce competitions ranging from traditional folk dances to native cuisine cook-offs. Evening cultural shows at the Municipal Plaza will highlight the talents of local artists and performers.
Local Products Fair & Food Bazaar
Support local farmers, artisans, and small businesses at the “Produkto ti Badoc” fair. Enjoy traditional delicacies like empanada, bagnet, and kalamay, and try newly introduced food concepts from young entrepreneurs.
Thanks-Giving Mass & Closing Fireworks (March 17)
The final day begins with a community mass to give thanks for another fruitful year, followed by the awarding ceremonies and a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the Ilocos skies.
